Kris Kristofferson and the Strangers appeared in concert at the Twin Towns Showroom on Australia’s Gold Coast on 2 October 2019. The gig was part of an extensive tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The venue is widely regarded by performers as one of the best in Australia. Twin Towns’ sound and lighting technicians were voted the best in the industry by their peers – Winning the ‘Best Technical Support’ Award at the Mo Awards event.

Kris Kristofferson fans could identify him in the weakest of lighting. How? That’s easy. Kris has a distinctive voice that a fan could pick out anywhere, and then there’s that walk. Nobody moves – or moves us – quite like he does.

Janice Campbell was at this concert. Her daughter captured Kris mid-stride at exactly the right moment. This snap delighted many of us because we’d seen that exact moment ourselves – Just at different times, gigs and even in different decades.

Janice simply said that she had a wonderful time at the concert. It was a lovely evening, perhaps made even more special because the evening was a treat from her loving daughter.
Janice has seen Kris from the 2nd row just a few years earlier at the Gold Coast. Lucky lady, indeed!
